J.R. Remick exploded onto the Detroit comedy scene in 1989 and since then has become one of the more popular of Motown's homegrown talents. Combining observational humor with his uncanny range of over 100 celebrity impressions, cartoon and character voices, J.R. is viewed as one of the Midwest's top comic/impressionists. From Shaggy and Scooby Doo, to resurrecting Elvis as a bowler (The King Pin of Rock'n Bowl), and everyone in between, J.R. packs an animated punch!  His amazing talent for mimicking has also allowed him to perform celebrity voice overs in dozens of radio commercials. His "All American" look has landed him a number of print ads and television commercials. This versatile performer also appeared in the films "Judicial Consent" with Bonnie Bedalia, "Nobody Knows" with Ralph Waite and the HBO film "61*" directed by Billy Crystal. Stand-up comedian, brilliant impressionist and television and film actor. Not bad for a kid who took his antics and daydreams from the classroom to a man who is now living his dreams on: THE COMEDY STAGE AND BEYOND
